Eiles Finance is the practice of Jack Eiles, Independent Financial Adviser at Cooper and Parks, part of the Openwork Partnership.
Most people think financial advice is about selling products. It isn't — or at least, it shouldn't be.
Jack is a former teacher who became an Independent Financial Adviser. His job is the same as it always was: take something complex and intimidating, and make it feel manageable. When you understand your finances properly, you make better decisions naturally. You don't need anyone to sell you anything. You need someone to help you understand your options.
Inform people properly, show them where the gaps are, and they will naturally want to solve them. That is how financial advice should work.
The most common thing people say
That is the most common thing people say when they first get in touch. It is completely understandable — and it is exactly why Jack does this work.
Financial advice is not just for people with large sums of money. The people who think they don't have “enough” are often the ones who would benefit most. It is not about how much you have — it is about making the most of whatever you've got.
No minimum · No judgment · Just a conversation
It is not about spreadsheets, jargon, or complicated products. It is about waking up knowing your family is protected. It is about retirement feeling exciting, not terrifying. It is about control.
When the worst happens — illness, injury, loss — the last thing anyone should worry about is money. And when the best happens — a new baby, a new business, a windfall — you should feel confident making decisions, not overwhelmed.
That is what financial planning actually is. Not products. Peace of mind. And a plan that grows with you.
Feel secure, not anxious

An initial conversation — free, no obligation, no pressure. You tell Jack what’s on your mind. He listens. Together you work out whether he can help.
Jack gathers the information he needs, analyses where you are financially, identifies any gaps, and builds a clear picture of your situation.
Jack presents his recommendations in plain English, explains the options, and — if you are happy — puts the plan in place. You are in control at every stage.
I used to be a teacher. I left the classroom, but I never stopped teaching.
I became a financial adviser because I wanted to keep doing what I'm best at — building relationships, gaining trust, and helping people feel in control of their own lives. The more complex something is, the more I enjoy breaking it down.
My goal is simple: by the end of our first conversation, you should feel more informed, more empowered, and more confident about your financial situation than you did before we spoke — whether or not you decide to work with me.
