The Process
From the first conversation to a plan that's in place — everything explained clearly, step by step, at your pace.
Free. No obligation. No pressure.
The first step is always a conversation. It can be face-to-face, on the phone, or by video — whatever suits you. There is no charge, no obligation, and no pressure. It is simply a chance to tell us what is on your mind and for us to understand whether we can help.
Most people are nervous before this conversation. That is completely normal. The most common thing people say when they first get in touch is: “I'm not sure I have enough for this to be worth your time.” You do. And you are welcome here.
We do not start by looking at products or solutions. We start by getting to know you. Jack will share a little about himself — his journey, why he changed direction — because we want you to feel safe enough to be open. Then we will ask you questions, and listen.
Face-to-face, phone, or video
Whatever format suits you and your schedule.
No time pressure
We take as long as you need. There is no agenda beyond understanding you.
No minimum required
You do not need a certain level of savings or income. Everyone is welcome.
After our first conversation, the formal process follows three clear stages — all explained before any work begins.
The first formal stage is about understanding your world. We will talk about your objectives, your hopes, your dreams. We need to understand what matters to you — not just financially, but in life.
There is also a compliance conversation at this stage. The Financial Conduct Authority sets clear rules about how we should behave, what happens if we do not, and what protections you have as a client. This is not a formality — it gives you control.
We will gather information about your current financial situation. This might happen in meetings or over email, depending on what works for you.
Once we have a full picture of where you are, we carry out a thorough analysis.
This includes an Attitude to Risk questionnaire — understanding how comfortable you are with different levels of risk — and a Capacity for Loss assessment, making sure any recommendations are genuinely suitable for your circumstances.
We use cash flow modelling to create a clear picture of where you are now versus how things are likely to develop. This is where gaps and shortfalls become visible.
Based on everything we have discussed and everything the analysis has revealed, we will present our recommendations.
These are delivered in a clear, written report — in plain English, not industry jargon. We will walk you through everything personally, explaining why each recommendation has been made and what it means for you.
Once you are happy and you understand everything, we put the plan in place. Our fee is explained upfront before any work begins — no surprises, no hidden costs.
Financial planning is not a one-off event. We stay in touch — by email, WhatsApp, or phone — to make sure everything is working the way you want it to.
If the relationship is strong — and it usually is — you will reach out when something changes. New job, new baby, a loss, a windfall. We adapt the plan to represent your new needs.

Ongoing support included. No retainer required.

It depends on the complexity of your situation. Simple protection can be in place within a few days. A more comprehensive financial plan might take a couple of weeks. We never rush. We always work at your pace.
Simple protection
A few days
Life cover, income protection, and similar policies can often be arranged quickly once we know what you need.
Comprehensive plan
One to two weeks
More complex situations — pensions, investments, tax planning — take a little longer to get exactly right.
These are estimates only. Every client's situation is different.
The first step is just a conversation. No paperwork, no commitment, no fee. Tell us what is on your mind and see if we can help.
